This is the best, BEST “Dope” performance from the boys from all their performances of this song so far, and god does it show how much they’ve improved from the constant practicing and performing of this track, from the sheer amount of hard work over the past few months because of TRB world tour, Highlight, schedules in Japan, and just about everywhere else they’ve been performing.
They’ve gotten so damn comfortable performing this on stage, and you can just see by the way every single one of the members ad libbed during the performance, shouting onstage and chanting things to the audience constantly like “turn up” or “let’s go” so much more than they usually do (not just rap line, but vocal line too!) and improvised their parts from the very beginning of the song to the very end. Jeongguk even sang his line differently at 3:38, AND JIMIN AT 4:41? LIKE WHAT WAS THAT AD LIB?!
They went beast mode af in this performance and seriously gave it their all. I’M SO, SO THOROUGHLY IMPRESSED.
